Terms and Conditions

First: Rental Foundations

The minimum rental period is one day (twenty-four hours)
The contract duration is extendable with the consent of both the lessor and lessee
provided that the necessary procedures are specified in the contract
Rental value is calculated for hours of delay beyond the specified time for vehicle return by the lessee
with a maximum of 3 hours = half day and 6 hours = full day
In case the lessee does not request contract extension or the lessor does not approve the extension
the lessee bears additional costs for the extra period until the vehicle is returned to the lessor or retrieved by them
equivalent to 50% of the daily rental value if the delay exceeds forty-eight hours
in addition to the agreed rental costs in the contract
including accident cost coverage according to the terms stated in the contract
No modifications may be made by the lessee or lessor to the contract after signing
except with the consent and approval of both parties

Second: Lessor Obligations

The Lessor acknowledges and undertakes to comply with the following:

Vehicle suitability and safety for use
In case of any technical defect in the vehicle not due to negligence or carelessness by the lessee
it will be replaced with a vehicle of the same category
and if unavailable
it will be replaced with a vehicle of a lower category according to the announced tariff
Receiving the vehicle involved in an accident immediately upon reporting
considering the date and time of accident reporting as the end of the rental contract
Accepting a copy of a valid driving license for citizens as it contains all data
and a copy of passport or residence permit and driving license for foreigners
Bearing full responsibility for failure to verify the following:

The identity of the lessee and those authorized by them to drive the vehicle
and obtaining copies from them
Valid driving license for the driver
whether the lessee or those authorized by contract to drive the rented vehicle and its passengers
Not refusing for any reason to receive the vehicle from the lessee upon return

Third: Lessee Obligations

The lessee acknowledges and undertakes to comply with the following:

Vehicle:

That the vehicle is complete with all its components including tires
engine
tools
equipment
and documents belonging to the lessor
That the vehicle has been rented to him for his personal transportation use
That he has confirmed the suitability of the vehicle for his use
That he has no right to make any modifications to the vehicle and its equipment
including tampering with the odometer or removing the lessor identification sticker
That he uses the fuel and oil specified by the lessor in the contract while operating the vehicle

Vehicle Return:

Returning the vehicle at the location, date, and time specified in the contract and any extension thereof, and it should be in the same operational condition as received, taking into account natural wear and tear during the period it remained with him.

Vehicle Recovery:

The lessor has the right to recover the vehicle through the competent authority and at the expense of the lessee without any prior notice from the lessor in the following two cases:

Failure to return the vehicle on the specified date and time
Employees of competent authorities in emergency cases

Drivers:

Those authorized to drive the vehicle are:

The lessee if he holds a driving license that qualifies him to drive the vehicle
Employees of competent authorities in emergency cases
The person or persons authorized by the lessee who hold driving licenses that qualify them to drive the vehicle and whose data is recorded in the contract

Usage Conditions:

The vehicle will not be used in the following cases:

By persons not authorized by the contract to drive the vehicle
If the vehicle needs repair
If operation leads to damage to the vehicle engine or any of its components
If the driver authorized by the contract is unable to drive the vehicle
such as being under the influence of intoxicating or narcotic substances or suffering from a health condition that prevents proper driving
Participating in car races
Pushing or towing other vehicles
In a manner resulting from negligence
Towing a trailer without the lessor's consent
Driving training
Sub-leasing
For purposes inconsistent with the regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia unless stipulated in the contract

Leaving the Vehicle:

Not leaving the vehicle and ignition key in it.

Insurance:

Bearing full responsibility for accidents towards others in addition to the rented vehicle, its driver, and passengers.

It is known to him that insurance does not cover accidents except in the following cases, and therefore he bears full responsibility for them.

If the driver is under the influence of intoxicating or narcotic substances
If the driver is not authorized by the contract to drive the vehicle
Accident occurring after the end of the contract period and any extension thereof
Using the vehicle for purposes other than those for which it was rented
If the accident occurs outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and it was not agreed in the contract to use the vehicle outside the Kingdom

Reporting Accidents and Vehicle Impoundment:

Bearing full responsibility for accidents towards others in addition to the rented vehicle, its driver, and passengers.

It is known to him that insurance does not cover accidents except in the following cases, and therefore he bears full responsibility for them.

Notifying the lessor and security authorities immediately upon the vehicle being involved in an accident or discovering its theft
providing them with all the information they request
Notifying the lessor immediately upon the vehicle being impounded by competent authorities for any reason

Lessor's Rights:

Not waiving the lessor's rights towards the other party
Not representing the lessor before competent authorities

Sudden Vehicle Breakdowns:

Returning the vehicle to the lessor if it needs repair due to a sudden breakdown or notifying him if it is not suitable for driving so that the lessor can recover it, and in both cases, he agrees not to perform any repairs without the lessor's consent.

Violation of regulations and instructions

bears full responsibility for the following:

Traffic violations caused by the driver
Any other violations resulting from misuse of the vehicle or using it for illegal purposes

Lessee's Personal Belongings:

Bearing full responsibility for leaving any belongings inside the vehicle.

Rental Costs:

Bearing the following costs:

Vehicle rental costs throughout the rental period and any extension thereof according to what is stated in the contract texts
Insurance costs agreed upon in the contract
The value of fuel
oil
water
and tire inflation during the rental period
Costs resulting from misuse of the vehicle
Costs of traffic violations caused by the driver
Costs resulting from violation of regulations
Public parking fees used
Costs of fuel present in the vehicle at the time of rental if used
Costs of damages not covered by the agreed insurance under the contract
Costs resulting from waiving the lessor's rights to others
Costs of repairing any modifications to the vehicle that the lessee may have made
Costs resulting from loss
replacement
or tampering with any parts of the vehicle or its equipment
Costs resulting from delayed delivery of the vehicle on the specified date and time according to the price category specified in the contract
including accident cost coverage according to the terms stated in the contract

Additional Important Points

Participating in car races
Pushing or towing other vehicles
Driving training
Sub-leasing

Insurance and Liability

Full responsibility for accidents
Immediate accident reporting
Insurance does not cover unauthorized use
Responsibility for traffic violations
